Nutritional Therapy

As a nutritional therapist I offer a variety of coaching packages and plans, which will improve your relationship and understanding of food, to optimize your life.  Areas of expertise include:

  • Gut health
  • Better sleep
  • Hormone balance

  • Immunity
  • Testing (Vitamin, mineral, blood, stool samples)*

The plan consists of a 90 minute consultation, followed by a 4 or 6 week plan, with access to your own personal app for us to work together.

*Testing is not included in the plan

Personal training

I’ve been a personal trainer for over 15 years, working and building good relationships and results with my clients. I specialise in:

  • Posture and rehabilitation work
  • Weight loss
  • Improved physique
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Special populations (Disability, pregnancy)

I offer one to one personal training and small group sessions. In person and online classes available.

Yoga

In our one to one yoga session I work with you where you’re comfortable by integrating body, breath and mind. Practicing yoga can give you the following physical and mental health benefits:

  • Increases flexibility and balance
  • Builds strength
  • Improves heart health
  • Can help you lose weight
  • Reduces stress and increases wellbeing

Researches believe that yoga may reduce stress by interfering with the central nervous system’s ability to release stress hormones.

How does it work?

You can consult with me in the following ways:

Online: I can do all consultations by phone, FaceTime, Zoom or Skype.

In person: I work from a clinic based in Hove

 

FEES

Initial consultation: 90 minutes £85

Follow up 45 minutes £65

 

Six Week Plan £600 (no initial consultation as included in plan)

1 Hour consultation per week for six weeks

HOW DO YOU PAY?

I require payment to be made via bank transfer to secure your appointment. I send out details of how to do this in your appointment letter.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

I require 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment or will charge the full fee as listed above. The full fee will be refunded if you need to cancel your appointment for any reason without rebooking as long as you give me more than 48 hours notice.

 

Laboratory testing: as appropriate and where possible I utilise laboratory testing. This is without doubt the best way to clearly identify underlying imbalances. These tests are done through private laboratories and any costs associated with them are not included in the prices quoted above. . I will never put any pressure on you to spend additional money on these tests. Many of these tests I provide to you at cost, the larger and more complex tests will include a small fee (around £20) to cover the time I need to interpret the tests and prepare a report for you.

 

Once we have made an appointment I will send you a detailed questionnaire and food diary for you to complete and return to me prior to your first session.

The first consultation is 90 minutes and can be face-to-face or by phone / Skype. In this session I take a detailed health history including: your family history, details of your medications, psychological & emotional pressures, exercise patterns, stress levels, dietary habits and dig into your key health symptoms.

If you have any recent blood test results from your GP or specialist (within the last 6 months) it can be helpful to provide this information at the first session. If you have a complex health history with a large amount of blood / other tests I will charge you for my time to review this data.

 

This session results in:

  • recommendations for appropriate dietary and lifestyle changes
  • a supportive meal plan and recipe ideas
  • recommendations for laboratory testing if appropriate
  • recommendations for supplements if appropriate (note I cross check all supplement suggestions against any medication that you might be on to ensure no interactions).
